![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Omission of a given book may mean I didn’t think highly enough of it to include it- or it may simply mean that, even in two-thirds of a century of science-fiction and fantasy reading, I still haven’t gotten to that book (as I say in several places on this site, that is especially likely to be true of books from the last decade or two, when annual science-fiction and fantasy title-publication totals have been staggering). This books-by-title page is not, nor is it meant to be, a list of every good science-fiction and fantasy book: it is a list of the science-fiction and fantasy books that I know and like. “‘What is the use of a book,’ thought Alice, ‘without pictures or conversations?’” ![]()

I took the train down from Tacoma (I love Amtrak) and arrived just in time for the first of the Lit Crawl events at 6 pm. And it definitely seems that Literary Arts was listening to everyone, because they answered a LOT of those concerns! I wrote last year about how amazing my first Wordstock was, but I also wrote about some of the bugs in the system during Literary Arts’ first outing as festival organizers and reported on some of the suggestions folks had to make it better.
